Halong Bay

Halong Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a popular tourist destination in Vietnam 1. It is located in northeastern Vietnam, from E106°55′ to E107°37′ and from N20°43′ to N21°09′. The bay stretches from Quang Yen town, past Ha Long city, Cam Pha city to Van Don District. Halong Bay owns a complex of limestone islands located within the Gulf of Tonkin, in the city of Halong, Quang Ninh province, which is about 170km from Hanoi 2. Halong Bay is surrounded by Bai Tu Long Bay in the Northeast, Cat Ba Archipelago and Lan Ha Bay in the South and the East.
